His passion for the stock market was awakened during his A-levels by the flight of the new market. Together with a friend, he bought T-Online shares, which were then recommended by bank consultants as a "long-term solid investment"...
The stock crash that followed did not detract from his passion for the stock market. On the contrary, he saw that it was impossible to rely on supposed experts and wanted to take his investments into his own hands.
In business studies, he therefore chose capital and financial market theory as his main focus in order to acquire comprehensive knowledge of stock markets, futures, derivatives and certificates. He was honored by the chair for his excellent achievements. He completed his diploma with the thesis "The stock markets of the world and their risk of contagion".
In addition to institutional experience at IKB - Bank and at the private bank Sal. Oppenheim in Frankfurt, Germany he completed one of the leading investment qualifications in the world as CIIA - Certified International Investment Analyst. In addition, he completed the qualification CEFA - Certified European Financial Analyst, which was specially tailored to Europe.
For some years he has regularly traded in front of an audience, is a welcome speaker at trade fairs such as INVEST or IB-Days and is quoted in the trade magazine TRADERS.
At Smart-Markets, he is dedicated above all to his own trading and to training courses such as the trader training that has been successfully offered for years.
In his spare time he enjoys sports like tennis or skiing and enjoys holidays with his family - preferably in the same time zone - in order to be able to trade his favourite product - the DAX - on holiday from time to time.
